| Ive been having some issues trying to setup the hd fury with my new acer revo 3700 htpc. I think that it may be the driver software that comes with the new ION 2 graphics card but I'm not sure. At any rate, I hooked up the hd fury 2 to the htpc, and it was outputting low resolution. (I changed the resolution to 1080p and the screen went blank and it got saved at that resolution)... Went out, got a power supply, and that did not fix the blank output. Therefore, I hooked up a 2nd monitor via VGA and booted windows and was able to pull up my original monitor (connected through hd fury) as an "extended monitor"... adjusted the resolution to 1080p, and hd fury was working fine. THEN, when I disconnected the VGA cable, the HDFURY monitor went black with "no display input" again. (I'm thinking whatever settings it had saved to initially to the HDFURY monitor load whenever it is the sole monitor, and are not saved when i change them during extended monitor use). Therefore, I know the hd fury card works, I know the power supply works, but I can't seem to change the windows 7 settings upon boot with hd fury as the SOLE monitor- thus I can't see anything, thus im stuck in a bad loop. I tried using device manager to "uninstall" the profile for the hd fury 2 card when its connected, but that did nothing. If anyone has any idea what is going on or how to solve it, please help |

From what i understand, HDfury works in your setup when used as extended desktop/monitor (or second monitor)
What i don't get is that you can see the boot up when connected directly or not, can you please confirm if you see the PC boot till windows load or nothing at all.
I guess that you are using second port of your video card when working as extended desktop right ? |
