Hi,
My HDfury 2 worked for about 6 months, then i had no time to watch my CRT for a few months and now when i turn it back on, the HD-fury doesn't work anymore.
Once a i had a picture for a few seconds.
Now the HDfury blinks blue intermittently with no pattern and now it stay dark when turning on a source that used to work ( vp 50 an SKY-HD box).
And the strangest thing is when the HDfury is connected to the SKY-box it freezes until i remove the HDfury from the signalpath !

Any idea what's going on ????

Yes, the powersupply is connected.
But on or off, it doesn't change a thing.

And i changed the HDMI cable, no change.

it's about 10 m long and used to work perfectly.

Sky did an HDMI update recently and broke HDMI for a bunch of displays. See if they have another update available.

nope,
when i connect this to my VGAcard on my pc, it has the same behavior, flashing without a claer pattern and then the light stays away.

It also doens't work any longer on my DVDO VP50 scaler.

So is it broke ?

Do I get something else ? The HDfury 3 (but is it as (un)reliable is my HDfury 2 ?), the Moone box or go with Gregg Eisemans HDMI input card for the Barco ?

How long ago did you buy your HDFury2? Was it less than a year? Did you buy it through sitename.com?

I live in Europe, so i bought it in the UK, at "the game train", official resellers.
It was the beginning of last year.

There should be a 1 year warranty on it. Contact Game Train and see if they will warranty it for you.

FYI - I don't think that can be assumed. All resellers will offer different sales/warranty terms. Check with your reseller to see what theirs are.

At sitename.com we offer a 1 year warranty and will also pay for fast (1-2 day) FedEx return shipping from anywhere in the world if there's an issue so that it costs you nothing to get it fixed under our warranty.

What do you mean ?

I tried different cables and put it between my PC and my monitor with a 2 m HDMI cable.
No picture at all and a few seconds of blinking blue light and then nothing.

Is it broken ? and what about the warranty ?
The gametrain told me to contact HKmods for further handeling of the problem.
( Have you tried contacting the manufacturer support@hkmod.com as they will be able to offer support and help resolve any issues with the product. )

Yeah nice of them. We can do the tech support here but they need to do the exchange if necessary.

pietnoeck, try flipping the side switch on the HDFury2 back and forth to see if that makes a difference.

Hi there,

did you try another USb device with the PSU, cause may be it's just a PSU issue ?

If PSU is ok, then it might be the connector.
