Ya. I have that same 80gb/mgs bundle.

Thanks for this. Was going to get the 80GB version but think I will get the 40or 60 instead.

Mmmm, can get a new Dualshock controller with the 80GB version. Has any one got a fix for this yet? Do you think it will just be a firmware update?

Look at the line on this page and other pages "HDFury solves the BLACK SCREEN issue on PlayStation 3!" http://www.smdepot.net/news/?cat=6 Is this a previous issue HDFury had or is it stating that this problem is now resolved?

Thanks for the speedy reply! Well, if he says that yours is broken, then that means mine is too! *crosses his fingers* maybe we can both get this working.

Dear sir,

I'm sad you are having issue with your product, if you explain a bit more we may be able to help you out without having to replace HDfury.

So far we have less than 20pc returned for replacement out of thousands and not even 10 was defectives Wink

The most common reasons of compatibility issues are:

1) Source not sending enough current on it's pin14 > Fixed using a PSU

2) Display not able to resolve 1280x720 and/or 1920x1080

3) Defective HDMI > DVI-D cable or use of inline adapter such as HDMI to DVI-D adapter

Please use the forum for support and describe your issue as well as your display brand/model and link to usermanual/PDF

Please note that our direct RMA service is available for purchase made through sitename.com or HDfury.com

As you made your order on Monoprice.com you have to deal with monoprice.com for getting your replacement !

Ultra Fast return and replacement through us is available ONLY to sitename.COM customers ! (yet another reason to stick with the SOURCE)

All the best,

Team HDfury.com

Why are you guys so upset with monoprice? Just because they are beating your price for the same product? I mean come on, after all they bought their HDFurys from you, so why all the down talking monoprice? They are a great company and deserve respect. You act as if they stole them from you.

Hey bro, I think it's a previous issue. Everyone seems to have given up on this. I can't work on it right now because I've got finals to take care of. I'll be able to get back to work on this issue in a few weeks. As it sits right now, I think we're screwed.

Yeah, I dunno what that's all about. I thought it was funny they were asking for more information about my problem when it had been explained in other posts. *sigh* Now it's suddenly the ps3's fault. I really wonder...

Monoprice did not follow the agreed upon contractual reseller rules laid out by HKmod. I won't go into more detail than that...

Yeah, don't neglect your degree for this. I remember getting a new PC just before my A-levels exams many years ago, big mistake. Been reading more about the PS3 and the lack of back-wards compatibility it has with previous games. Sony has made a real mess of this I might as well get the cheaper XBox 360. Can't believe I would ever say that.

I've mailed mine back and am waiting for the postal service to get it to them. Once I get the replacement I will give an update.

BLACK SCREEN ISSUE ON PS3 = Attempt to connect PS3 to a DVI-D PC screen, no HDCP compliant, which results in a BLACK SCREEN.

It's another way to say that HDfury will add HDCP compliance to your display and therefor allow you to display PS3 or any others HDMI sources on it !
